HDFC Bank's Aditya Puri tops the list as India's highest paid bank chief

Two of the highest-paid CEOs in the banking sector include Aditya Puri from HDFC bank and Amitabh Chaudhary from Axis bank. HDFC is the most valued bank having a worth of $4.8 billion and is also ranked in Forbes Magazine. Following them are Uday Kotak from Kotak Mahindra Bank and Chanda Kochhar, former CEO and MD of ICICI bank. HDFC had a net profit of ₹ 21,078 crores in FY 2018-19. This has increased roughly about 20%.
