HDFC Groups beats Tata Group in market capitalization to become India’s most valuable

Leaving behind the Tata Group, HDFC group registered the market capitalization of Rs 11.66 lakh crore to become India's most valuable as on May 20, 2019, with the total of its 5 listed firms- HDFC, HDFC Bank, HDFC Life, HDFC Asset Management & Gruh Finance. With its 29 firms, Tata Group's m-cap stood at Rs 11.64 lakh crore, about Rs 2,000 cr less than HDFC group. Last year there was a big gap between the firms' m-cap.
