Help revive investment: IMF praises India's decision to slash Corporate Income Tax

The International Monetary Fund(IMF) has lauded the decision taken by the Indian Government last month to slash corporate income tax. The IMF said that the decision has a positive impact on investment. Changyong Rhee, Director, Asia and Pacific Department, IMF said, "India needs to be careful as it still has limited fiscal space but we support their corporate income tax cut because it has a positive impact on investment."
