Income Tax dept. out with list of defaulters that owe Rs. 490 crore taxes

The Income-Tax department released a list of 24 defaulters and companies who owe about Rs. 490 crore in taxes. The department issued an advertisement as a part of its name and shame defaulters policy. Principal Director General of Income Tax in Delhi has issued a notice to the named defaulters to pay their tax arrears immediately. The maximum tax dues are against a Delhi-based company ‘Ms Stock Guru’ of over Rs 86.27 crore.
