India Go Digital, ATM Reduced
After demonetisation, the government is promoting digital transactions and this initiative of govt showing its result as the number of ATM’s are reducing. For the first time, between June and August this year, the total number of ATMs in the country decreased by 358 which is a dip of 0.16%. From last 4 years, ATM’s increased by 16.4%. This move came after a decrease in use and increase in the operational cost of ATM.
