India ranks 5th in the bad loans in the world
India ranks 5th in the bad loans list with a ratio of 9.85. The list has some of the countries with high nonperforming assets (NPAs) along with a few EU countries like Portugal, Spain, Ireland, Italy and Greece, which are often referred as PIIGS. The report has four blocks- very low NPA, low NPA, medium NPA and High NPA and according to the experts, the bad loan problem is a serious trouble for India.
