India slips to the 10th place in its Foreign Direct Investment: Report

The World Investment Report of the UN Conference on Trade & Investment showed that India drops to 10th spot in the list of top FDI receiving countries, despite a 6% surge in FDI. UNCTAD aims at maximising trade, investment & development opportunities of developing countries. The report highlighted changes to India's FDI policy; which banned foreign companies to sell their own products in the e-commerce marketplace like Amazon.
