India to reduce its drug reliance on China
Due to worsening of India's diplomatic relations with China, Indian health ministry along with drug regulators is planning to limit its reliance on China as around 70-80% of India’s medicines and medical devices supplies come from China. Govt is possessing a major risk of the shortage of drugs if any issue comes between India and China. Govt is also ensuring that only good quality drugs enter the Indian market.
