India to support community development in the Carribean; announces $14 Mn grant

India moved one step further in strengthening its relations with the Carribean island states. PM Modi met 14 leaders of the CARICOM group of countries on September 25 during the sidelines of UNGA in New York and announced a $14 million grant for community development projects in CARICOM. India also announced 150 million line of credit for solar energy, renewable energy, and climate-change-related projects.
