India unveils new foreign trade policy 2023 to boost exports, focus on international trade settlement in rupees

The Central government on Friday unveiled India's new Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) 2023, which seeks to boost the country's exports to USD 2 trillion by the year 2030 and focuses on international trade settlement in rupees. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal unveiled FTP 2023 which will come into effect from April 1.
