The huge popularity of online card games such as Teen Patti is boosting mobile gaming industry's growth in India, according to a KPMG report. The report also says that despite gambling being illegal in most states in India, these card game apps are allowing players to buy game money through in-app purchases while also focusing on self-regulation. Gaming world leaders like Tencent are planning to invest in the Indian market.
