The Indian economy is witnessing slowdown and the future is looking even more dire. According to an RBI report, the economy will continue to suffer and the major reason behind it is the drop in private consumption. A combination of domestic and global headwinds has depressed economic activity, especially in terms of aggregate demand. The near-term outlook of the Indian economy is fraught with several risks," says the report.
