Indian Govt raised Rs. 14500cr from BHARAT 22 ETF
The government has recently revealed that Rs. 14,500cr has been raised through BHARAT 22 Exchange Traded Fund. The objective of this was to invest in 22 companies of S&P BSE Bharat 22 index and since its inception, the project has been received positively and gained approximately Rs. 32,000 crores of subscriptions. Hence, in November government decided to increase the ETF from Rs. 8000 crores to Rs. 14,500 crores.
