India's Index of Industrial Production growth rate in July 2020 declines by 10.4%

The IIP reduced by 10.4% for July 2020 as compared to 16.6% in June this year. According to the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, For the month of July 2020, the Quick Estimates of IIP with base 2011-12 stands at 118.1. The ministry said, “The Indices of Industrial Production for the Mining, Manufacturing and Electricity sectors for the month of July 2020 stand at 87.2, 118.8 and 166.3 respectively.
