India's leading e-commerce platforms barred from selling products of direct selling companies

Amazon, Flipkart, Snapdeal-the leading e-commerce giants have been restrained from selling health and beauty products of direct sellers like Amway, Modicare, and Oriflame without their consent, by Delhi HC. The order came after the 3 firms had filed pleas alleging that their brand products were being sold at cheaper rates on e-commerce platforms, that led to financial losses. They also said their goods may be tampered.
