Industrial Production growth slows down

Industrial production in India has has slowed down to 4.4% in March, claims a report. It is the lowest rate in the last five months. The Index of Industrial Production numbers was lower than what was expected. There has been a slowing down in the growth rate of the manufacturing, mining and electricity sectors. The consumer non-durables segment has however shown an increase in growth rate.
