Dell Technologies, which did not disclose financial information regarding its plans to pay $21.7 billion in cash and stock to buy back shares tied to its interest in software company VMware Inc, thereby going public to its investors, has been sued by activist investor Carl Icahn, who owns 9.3% share in Dell. He called the plan a threat to vote in favor of the merger, or else face consequences of IPO conversion.
