Following a Reuter's report alleging that Johnson & Johnson's Baby Powder contains cancer-causing asbestos, Central Drugs Standard Control Organization has ordered the company to stop manufacturing its baby powder using the "huge quantities" of raw materials stocked in its plants in northern and western India. Calling the report false, J&J said that the safety of their baby powder is based on decades of use and research.
