Karti Chidambaram's trip was to close illegal bank accounts, says CBI

Karti Chidambaram, son of former finance minister P Chidambaram recently went abroad and according to CBI, his trip was for the purpose to close his undisclosed foreign bank accounts and transfer the money from these accounts. In a hearing in Supreme Court, the CBI disclosed this fact on Friday. Being questioned twice, Chidambaram continues to deny the allegations. The former minister also blames CBI for harassing his son.
