Linking aadhaar to bank accounts is Mandatory: RBI

RBI has earlier published reports that were stating linking of bank accounts and Aadhar as optional and not mandatory. Reserve bank of India announced on Saturday that it is compulsory for every citizen to link their bank accounts with their respective Aadhaar cards. RBI asked banks to work according to the instructions without any delay. The last date of linking the card is marked as 31st December.
