'Hotel Milagu' in Madurai put up an advertisement offering 'Kumbakonam Iyer Chicken,' a chicken dish named after the Brahmin community. The ad went viral on social media & also caused a huge uproar over the name of the dish. The community protested over the name & representative of the Brahmin association met hotel authorities to express their anger over the dish's name. The hotel apologised & assured of changing the name.
