Maharashtra and Delhi leading the Startup race in India

With 8,000 recognized start-ups, Maharashtra is the Numero Uno state in generating the most number of start-ups in the country. It is closely followed by the National Capital Delhi with 7,900 DPIIT recognized start-ups. India has 21,235 recognized start-ups, and apart from Maharashtra and Delhi, the other prominent states are Karnataka, UP, Gujarat, and Telangana. India to soon become the unicorn of start-ups globally.
