MEA suspended Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi passports
Accused in the Punjab National Bank's Rs 11,000 crore scam, Diamond merchant Nirav Deepak Modi and Gitanjali Gems CMD Mehul Chinubhai Choksi's passport has been suspended by Ministry of External Affairs for the next four weeks on the advice of Enforcement Directorate. MEA has provided one week time to both of them to respond and if they fail to respond then MEA will not renew their passports.
