Amid massive layoffs by global tech firms, Meta Platforms Inc. is reportedly flattening its organisation. The tech giant is asking many of its managers and directors to transition to individual contributor jobs or leave the company as it tries to become more efficient. In November 2022, Meta said it was cutting more than 11,000 roles that are 13 percent of its staff.
