Counterpoint research surveyed, interviewed 800 smartphone users from top Indian cities and claim that above 50% wants to purchase a new premium smartphone in the next 12 months. The premium features include dust and water resistance. India has a hot and humid climate. Even dust can damage your smartphone experience. Hence Indians now are ready to shell more money on smartphones that are dust and water-resistant.
