Ola raises Rs 39.5 crores in fresh funding, indicating company may go public soon

Ola has raised Rs 35.9 crore in fresh funding from an investment fund named ‘ARK Ola Pre-IPO Private Investment Trust’, from a Seoul based private trust fund, indicating that the company might have started preparing to go public in time to come. CEO Bhavish Aggarwal has last year stated that Ola would become cash-flow positive soon. One key measure to watch will be Ola’s financial results for the year ended March 2019.
