Only 1/10th out of 1.05 crore have registered on e-way bill platform

CEO of GST Network has revealed that only 11 lakh businesses and transporters under GST have registered themselves under GST on e-way bill platform. With only 3 days for the feature to roll out, the number is about 1/10th of 1.05 crore registered businesses and about 70,00,000 filing returns. The bill has been made mandatory for transportation of goods worth over 50,000 through road, railways and airways.
