Over 9,300 willful defaulters owe Indian banks over Rs 1 lakh crore

In the wake of PNB fraud, another scary data has come out that shows willful defaulters owe the Indian banks more than Rs. 1.1lakh crore. The data shows that bad loans are growing in an alarming rate while the bank-wise analysis shows that, Bank wise analysis shows that SBI and its associates account for 1/4th of the total amount while the private sector has also declared Rs. 14,000cr as wilful default.
