Over one third of registered firms get closed
Latest data shows that more than one-third of registered firms have closed because of illegal activities and as on October 31st, only little over 11 Lakh firms are open. The survey shows, 5.35 lakh companies have shut down while 5597 firms were under liquidation and 1123 firms have been called dormant. The report says that 7556 companies have registered this year which is statistically better than last year’s 6542 firms.
