P&G to roll out an e-commerce platform to tap into India's e-commerce markets

Procter & Gamble has started rolling out an e-commerce platform to understand and tap India's growing online market, joining HUL and Coca Cola in launching web stores for local consumers. This is a test and learn approach for P&G and their Kolkata distributor will run the web store “end to end” and P&G will only supply products without making any financial investments. The website is expected to go live in a month.
