PharmEasy to buy a 66.1% stake in Thyrocare for Rs 4,546 Cr

PharmEasy’s parent company API Holdings has announced the signing of definitive documents to acquire 66.1% stake in Thyrocare for about Rs 4,546 crore. Docon Technologies Pvt Ltd, a 100% subsidiary of API, will be the acquirer and shall make an open offer for an additional 26% stake, said the company in a press release. In return, A Velumani, Chairman & MD of Thyrocare will acquire a minority stake of 5% in API Holdings.
