PhonePe accuses BharatPe of illegal usage of 'Pe'; drags BharatPe to Delhi HC

PhonePe accuses BharatPe of illegal usage of 'Pe' and has registered a trademark infringement case in Delhi High Court, where both the leading players in the merchant UPI ecosystem are at loggerheads. PhonePe has also claimed trademark rights over the name and sought an injunction order in a lawsuit against BharatPe. However, the court didn't grant an injunction on PhonePe's original appeal, and the hearing is scheduled on Oct 9.
