RBI Governor dismisses media reports of Rs 30,000 crore Payout from Central Bank

RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das put a decisive end to all the media reports claiming a payout of Rs.30000 from the Central Bank to the government. According to some media reports, the government might seek an interim dividend of about Rs 30,000 crore from the RBI towards the end of the financial year. "I have also seen it in the media. That apart I am not aware of any such demand from the government," Das told the media.
