RBI Keeps Repo Rate Unchanged at 6%

In RBI’s bi-monthly monetary policy review, RBI announced that The repo rate cent and the reverse repo rate will remain unchanged at 6% and 5.75% respectively retail inflation hit a 5-month high of 3.36% in August and slowdown in the economy. RBI in August cut repo rate to near seven-year low of 6%. RBI also cut down the growth projection down from 7.3% to 6.7%.
