RCom to wind up 2G operations by November
After announcing shutting down of DTH services from November 18 due to the expiry of DTH license, Reliance Communications has decided to shut down its 2G mobile business by the end of November. But will continue to provide 3G and 4G services. This announcement came after debt-ridden Rcom fails to close the merger deal with telecom operator Aircel and to repay its loan commitments.The company also asked its employees to quit.
