Cognizant announced a massive round of job cuts, which will impact 12,000 jobs in the coming months, including 6000 roles that will be impacted as a result of ending the content moderation business for platforms like Facebook. This move is to reduce cost, even as growth comes under pressure. Cognizant's CEO and CFO said this was part of the company's new strategy called '2020 Fit for Growth Plan'.
