Reports declare that Deloitte quits Crisis-hit DHFL as their auditor

Haskins & Sells from Deloitte along with Chaturvedi and Shah have decided to quit as auditors for DHFL. This is due to unsatisfactory responses from the crisis-hit firm when they are posed with queries related to funding deployment. As per the sources, the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has received this information. However, DHFL has denied this. DHFL has a debt of Rs.90000 cr and has also defaulted a lot on repayment obligations.
