RIL records highest-ever quarterly profit of Rs 11,262 crore, above the Street estimates

Reliance Industries reported a record net profit of Rs 11,262 crore for July-Sept quarter, beats Street estimates reporting an 18.32% YOY rise. RIL's net profit rose by 9.5% to Rs 9702 crore while its revenue fell by 8.4% to Rs 94446 crore mainly on account of lower crude prices. RIL MD Mukesh said these excellent results reflect the benefits of our integrated oil to chemicals value chain & rapid scale of our consumer business.
