Roadblock for Trump administration as US court blocks ban on Tiktok downloads

US District Judge Carl Nichols played the leveller amid the ongoing issue between Chinese Firm ByteDance-owned TikTok and Donald Trump-led US administration. The court temporarily blocked the order to ban downloads of TikTok from Google play store and Apple AppStore in US. TikTok lawyer John E. Hall had called the Trump administration's move to ban downloads of the app "unprecedented" and "irrational" during the Sunday hearing.
