Rs 1 Lakh crore bank fraud in 5 years: RBI
RBI in a report said that there are about 23,000 cases of fraud which involves about Rs 1 lakh crore in the last five years in various banks. From the year 2013 to March 1st, 2018, 23,866 cases of fraud has been reported involving Rs 1 lakh or above. As per RBI, each fraud cases are processed and necessary action will be taken as per the report. This data have significance as CBI and ED are looking to it.
