Sensex slips to 52,805 points, Nifty barely holds 15,700

On Monday, the Indian equity benchmarks traded lower in opening deals, moving in tandem with global peers. While the Sensex slipped 102 points or 0.2% to 52,805, the Nifty fell 47 points or 0.3% to 15,705. However, the midcap indices showed bullish signals with the Nifty Midcap 100 edging 0.15% higher.
