Share profits with locals and farmers: Uttarakhand HC to Ramdev

Uttarakhand High Court has ordered the company run by Baba Ramdev to share its profits with the local farmers and communities and this is the first time such order has been passed. The decision by the HC came after it rejected the petition filed by Ramdev's Divya Pharmacy against the Uttarakhand Biodiversity Board and called for equal benefit-sharing as provided under the Biological Diversity Act, 2002.
