Shopkeepers in Tamil Nadu gets permission to open for 24x7 for 3 years

The shopkeepers in Tamil Nadu have been allowed to open their shops 24x7 after the authorities officially adopted the Shops and Establishments (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Bill. But this has come with some conditions. Keeping in mind the safety of female employees, they will not work beyond 8 pm. This has been allowed initially for the time period of 3 years, the order said.
