Silicon Valley slides, Singapore shines in Innovation ranking
Singapore has jumped up on the ladder of Bloomberg Innovation Ranking 2018, beating strong European economies like Germany, Finland and Switzerland. South Korea retained its top spot while the US has slipped out of top 10 for the first time. According to the officials, the reason behind the fall of US is the crash in the post-secondary education-efficiency category and value-added manufacturing sector.
