Swiggy raised additional $43 million of funding in their Series A round

In its ongoing Series A round, food major Swiggy has raised $43 million more. The round was led by Tencent. Ark Impact, Korea investment partners, Samsung Ventures and Mirae Asset Capital Markets are other companies that participated in the round. Food delivery platforms are struggling amid the lockdown and the funding has come at this crucial time. Swiggy and Zomato are facing a 70% drop in their online orders.
