The Citizen sued for Rs 7000 crore by Reliance Group for Rafale deal defamation

After suing NDTV for their report on 'Rafale' deal, Anil Ambani's Reliance Group has now filed a Rs 7000 crore defamation suit against The Citizen's founder and editor, Seema Mustafa for the same. Calling their organisation a non funded news organization that 'takes pride in honesty, courage and independence', the Citizen has denied the allegations and said that they will fight for the truth with integrity.
