Twitter COO Anthony Noto resigns
Twitter COO Anthony Noto has stepped down to become the new CEO of financial technology company Social Finance Inc. After the announcement, Twitter’s shares fell more than 2.5% given early trading data. Noto will officially take charge at SoFi in March. Twitter hired 49-year-old Noto as CFO in 2014 following an outstanding stock award worth more than $60 million, with a career in banking at Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
