Uber staff layoffs: India accounted for less than 10% of the global layoff

According to Uber officials India is accounted for less than 10% of its 3rd global retrenchment drive this year. These terminations will impact Uber services in the country including its food delivery service. This is the third round of layoffs for Uber and after this their total retrenchment count reaches to 1,200, which is 1% of the company's total staff strength. Uber CEO Khosrowshahi to visit India later this month.
