Uber Rewards Programme launched, riders to get cheaper fares, priority pickup

Uber, expected to go public in 2019, has introduced a reward programme for its customers in a few US cities. The Uber Reward programme has four categories including Blue, Gold, Platinum and Diamond and riders can earn points per ride to advance up levels. Each category provides different perks such as cheaper fares, flexible cancellations, priority pick-ups at the airport and the points remain valid for 6 months.
