University of California files a lawsuit against Amazon, IKEA, Walmart over LED Lighting

Several big retailers have been selling its patented LED light bulb technology without permission. University of California files a lawsuit against retailers like Amazon, IKEA, Walmart, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond over LED Lighting. This is 1st of its kind direct patent enforcement campaign against an entire industry. As per UC Santa Barbara, they warned retailers of their infringement & asked them to set licenses with them.
